Not the first time I heard this song on the radio. But it seems all I can remember is "Oh it's what you do to me". Finally I decide to google it. It turns out it's "Hey There Delilah" by the rock band Plain White T's. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hey_There_Delilah)
Here are the lyrics

The word I couldn't figure out before i read the lyrics is "delilah". Is this a common English name? (very nice name, btw:)
I have to admit it's such a simple yet beautiful song with touching lyrics although I probably will need to be ten years younger to get addicted to it.
If you want to sing along (with guitar), here's the guitarpro tab. You can open it with the open source guitarpro alternative - TuxGuitar
It somehow reminds me of a similar Chinese song I was listening to ten years ago - Cinderella by Zheng Jun. It's also on youtube. it's actually the first time I watched the video, which apparently is a disappointment.

As far as I know, it's not

Wed, 07/16/2008 - 13:52 — Danny (not verified)ikku is right, on both counts: it's not exactly common, and it has Biblical origins, Old Testament.
The story is that of Samson and Delilah: Delilah tricks (strong man) Samson, who is keen on her or something, into cutting his hair (which is secret of his strength) so Samson can be imprisoned ( who by,or why, I can't remember, but I think Delilah was acting as someones agent), chained to some pillars as I recall.
Eventually his hair grows back, he regains his strength and pushes the pillars down, bringing the palace, or wherever it is he is imprisoned, down on top oh him and him and his enemies.
Moral of the story: your guess is as good as mine. Revenge is self destructive?
Oh, and Tom Jones had a hit song, Delilah, in the sixties or early seventies, about jealousy and revenge and murder.
"I saw the light on the night that I passed by her window
I saw the flickering shadows of love on her blind
...
...
Why, why why delilah
..."
Cheers, danny
