What's up with Yahoo! news?

I've been a loyal reader of Yahoo! headlines. Not that I favor its news over others like CNN, BBC, just simply I need to check my email among other things.
But, what's up with Yahoo! news these days? I mean during Beijing 2008 Olympics.
Check this one:

Hey There Delilah

Not the first time I heard this song on the radio. But it seems all I can remember is "Oh it's what you do to me". Finally I decide to google it. It turns out it's "Hey There Delilah" by the rock band Plain White T's. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hey_There_Delilah)
Here are the lyrics

The word I couldn't figure out before i read the lyrics is "delilah". Is this a common English name? (very nice name, btw:)

My way to learn English

When I first came to US, I felt like a deaf and dumb. Although I had been learned English for many years already, I only learned it from text book and I didn’t communicate with others in English back in my home country at all. I did realize the real world is totally different than the text book. Then I started to look for the resources to improve my language skill. One of the church closed to my apartment offered free Spoken English classes to the foreigners. Basically, you just went there twice a week and talk to someone to learn the language and the culture on a one-on-one basis.

Fortune cookie is not Chinese

Yesterday while I was fighting the traffic on my way home, an NPR interview with author Jenifer Lee caught my attention. In her new book (http://www.fortunecookiechronicles.com) due March 2008, she answers many interesting questions about Chinese food. One of them is "Fortune cookie is not Chinese", which surprises the author herself (as an American born Chinese, ABC for short) before she started to write the book.

Ni-Hao, Kai-lan - Nick Jr.'s newest show

Good news for parents who want to have bilingual kids: Ni-Hao, Kai-lan, Nick Jr. 's new animated series launches at 11 a.m. today. I haven't watched the show yet, but the preview looks very good. Most of my son's favorite shows are from Nick Jr., such as "Dora the explorer", "Go, Diego, Go!", and "Blue's Clue". This time Kai-lan Chow is a Chinese-American girl, who speaks both English Mandarin.
